Hiromi Maeo

Hiromi Maeo is a Japanese graphic designer with over 20 years' experience. He has prolifically designed for many notable Japanese corporations, and recently started designing for global enterprises. 
Meanwhile, his design has been increasingly gaining recognition from international design communities.

He founded enhanced Inc in 2012, and since then Hiromi’s main focus has been on corporate branding. His design expertise covers wide ranges of visual representation for brands, including CI and VI design, art direction, design consulting, web design, packaging design, and space design. His design style is minimalistic and timeless which enhances the core essence of the brand. When it comes to CI and VI design, what makes his work so outstanding is the highly sophisticated style of his design process, the way he meticulously constructs essential shapes on refined grids and how his interpretation of the core of the brand comes together into a strong visual identity.

His design has been featured in Behance main gallery, Branding gallery, Adobe Inspiration Is…, ADWEEK talent gallery, Interior Design Served, abduzeedo and went viral via different web pages across the globe. His designs are also picked up by notable design publications such as idN Magazine, Send Points, Sandu, and more.

In September 2015, He has been appointed as the first Japanese mentor by internationally recognized association, Adobe ico-D (the International Council of Design) mentorship program.

クライアントとの十分なヒアリングを基に立案したコンセプトにより形作られるタイムレスなデザインスタイルを信条とし、企業ブランディングに関わるCIやVI、アートディレクション、WebやApp等のデジタル領域、空間デザイン等において一貫したデザイン構築を行う。また、デザインコンサルティングなど、多様な事業レンジに対応している。
これまで手がけたプロジェクトは、国内の中〜大企業、外資系企業、海外企業など多岐にわたる。

プロジェクトの一部は世界中のさまざまなデザイン紹介系Webサイトやデザイン書籍等にも掲載されており、2015年9月には、国際的なデザイン協会であるico-D (the International council of Design) とADOBEが共同で行っている Adobe ico-D mentorship programにおいて、日本人として初めてのメンターにも選出された。
